Become An EA Football Talent Scout

It’s not been that long since we last posted about this but once again EA SPORTS are hiring Football Talent Scouts and they’re looking for Data Reviewers, Data Editors and Reference Collectors, now!

So if you think your favourite, or home town clubs players aren’t represented properly in FIFA this is your chance to have your say and contribute to the player database in the name of good. All you need to do is head over to the Official Football Talent Scout website and complete the online registration for the role of your choice.

Here’s a little more information about the roles currently hiring.

Data Reviewer – The EA SPORTS Data Reviewer is responsible to review data and enter feedback for his favourite teams and players.

Data Editor – The EA SPORTS Data Editor is a dedicated football expert with time to research and edit teams and players.

Reference Collector – The Reference Collector is responsible for providing reference pictures of kits (shirts, shorts, socks, sponsors, etc)

If any of that sounds like your cup of tea get over to the Official Football Talent Scout website and register your interest or for more details head to EA.com/Football.

Don’t moan about Sneijders hair, change it!

little disappointment to see no news…. had been a while

  • David

Thanks guys.. and thank you David Rutter, my friend :)

  • EFC

If this was posted on Ea website, they would be over run with people applying to change the players ankle socks lol.

  • sam

why does the website look like getting a virus

  • David Humber

@ Sam i guess no news is good news?

  • Xavi

Hey guys.. this is legit right? Im just curious, because the site DOES look strange.

  • Tom Mills

Yes guys the site is legit, it just looks fucking terrible.

We wouldn’t post it if it wasn’t.

  • David Humber

Jon Murphy (Konami Employee) in a very bitter interview, He is the PES PR man so naturally he’s trying to stir shit up but maybe he should look at his Japanese employers who have always been respectful to EA/Fifa…this guy reeks of pure jealousy.

    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-06-14-pes-hits-back-konami-accuses-fifa-of-copying-reveals-truth-behind-licenses-and-explains-seabass-new-role

  • Saisyu

@David Humber – Unless you are an EA employee I’m not sure why you care what he or any other PES staff has to say. Anyway Jon Murphy talks too much but he is right that EA/FIFA do copy PES. Remember this http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2012-04-24-ea-sports-president-people-told-us-just-to-copy-pes

  • Xavi

^ But it IS NOT entirely false. Fifa has introduced features which seem to have copied PEs in the past. PES6 was >FIFA(before 09) so logically it MAY be the reason why FIFA has, over time, surpassed PES.

  • David Humber

It’s football, a football game copying another football game? Whatever next? Plus it works both ways………..Fifa brings 360 movement to the table PES copy’s, Fifa brings triggered off the ball runs PES copies, Fifa has manual controls PES copies……………

Licenses Konami have shut EA out of Japan for years now and refuse to share the J-League which is Asia’s most famous league. Konami want their cake and eat it.

Hopefully Rutter and co dont take the bait from this Murphy numpty and just laugh it off.

  • King Geoffrey

Yeah.. I read the article. Copying innovations go both ways… poorly adopted 360 dribble, this year’s Full manual control…etc Konami is just butt hurt because they can’t even copy FIFA’s innovations properly yet FIFA makes things even better.

It’s time for EA to take PES Player ID and copy it. I don’t care what John Murphy says… COPY IT!!!

Regarding license, what about Konami having exclusive with UEFA champions league??? Hmm??? Btw, I want that Champions League license so badly for FIFA. This should be the top license priorty not Rusia or Chinese league…

  • pes fifa fan

i enjoy both football games but prefer pes but i do wish jon murphy would just shut his cakehole every single year he comes out with something to bash fifa he needs to concentra on pes not fifa

  • Lucas

What is the preview of FIFA 13 Demo?

  • David

Copying goes both ways. But it’s not like EA has copied EVERYTHING from PES. I think EA seems to be more interested in mimicking football than in just checking what KONAMI has done and immediately copying anything they like. I think EA devs have become very observant of real life football to see what is missing in FIFA and then trying to implement that into their next edition of FIFA. As for copying, KONAMI has also copied FIFA. Examples; Online play, FIFA- Be A Pro = KONAMI- Become A Legend, FIFA- Pro Passing = KONAMI- Total Passing, FIFA- Personality Plus = KONAMI- Player ID (perhaps done better than EA), Track lists (Konami copied EA) Stars on cover (EA did it first)
I can do the same for EA so it goes both ways, just the nature of marketing I believe.

Fifa has good animations only thats what makes it looks good.no battle in midfield the AI runs are shit its like when you attack you re alone.finesse shot from 10 you score 9.im a pes fan.i bought fifa 12 cuz pes 2012 i couldnt stand but after 2 mnths like much ppl do they get bored its always the same scoring and things.but this year i think pes 2013 will compete with fifa 13 in terms of gameplay and features.but overall license fifia always leads cuz of gimmicks and master minds ppl example DLC euro 2012 not worth it.i play pes on pc and with patches believe its much better th e euro 2012 than fifa .Jenkey is the master of pes patching of course the pc version.10x for maybe listen and i try fifa 13:P

On another note it seems that Pes may have lost the licence to the Champions League this yr. Read LAST SENTENCE!

“Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 (abbreviated to PES 2013 and known officially as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2013 in Asia) is a video game which is the latest edition in the Pro Evolution Soccer series developed and published by Konami. The game was officially announced by Konami on April 18, 2012.[2] The demo version of the game is set to be released for July 2012. It was the last game to feature exclusive licenced UEFA Champions League since PES 2009.

I know its Wikipedia but this would be something weird to make up.
@Dave @Tom @Toby do you guys have any knowledge about whether EA will surprise us with the CL this yr? ^_^
