The world cup fever is building up quite nicely and this summer is sure to be one hell of a footballing showdown. But for most of us gaming fans we want to be able to simulate the real game as best as we can on our own consoles, even long after the final whistle is blown on the 11th of July in Johannesburg. In steps EA Sports’ 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, announced just over a months ago and so far, looking very sharp.

As well as teasing us regarding a surprise sequel, the UK Official Playstation Magazine has stated they have the exclusive review for 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Make sure you hunt the next issue down, released 13th April, for the first verdict on EA’s next FIFA game.

What with the Games Developer Conference going on over in the US, lots of gaming news has been released over the past few days. Along with that, plenty of FIFA related news has emerged too. Game Trailers have just put up two videos showing lots of gameplay, lots of goals, and lots of dodgy celebrations!

Following the success of the Virtual Pro mode in FIFA 10, the team behind 2010 FIFA World Cup have decided to implement it in this summers’ footy festival. We can confirm that you will be able to pull your Virtual Pro’s from FIFA 10 into the World Cup game as seen in this image.
