They were still making Ps2 FIFA 5 years after current gen consoles launched so it no surprise. In truth I’d rather it was phased out quicker to allow more focus on PS4 and Xbox One.

That is “EA to milk customers on XBOX360/PS3 using the same game till 2018″ :) And don’t forget to add PC customers to that crowd notwithstanding the power of that platform. They need to promote the new boxes somehow, be it an artificial method or not, don’t they?

Frankly, I’m surprised that they are creating two games (one for each platform) at the same time. I thought FIFA15 would be their first for the new console. Just because of the typical release date timing.

I’ll prob wait to upgrade until Sep of ’14 as most of my online team will still be on the 360 for the next year.

Doesn’t bother me as FIFA13 is the last FIFA I’ll be buying on PS3. Onto the PS4 we go!

To me it sounded like EA said something like – “We will be supporting current-gen consoles which also includes PC until FIFA 18 *smiles*” *sighs*

    Of course. Now I don’t have to get a PS4 until 2018.
