    DLC.. lame, for all the people that whine about a full price competition games i enjoyed them alot.. and usually the small changes were very good and gameplay was usually better then FIFA games

    presentation was always top notch too, now that its just FIFA12 DLC i will not bother even if it is cheaper

    So glad they actually are updating the boots, why can’t they do this for the January update?

    If the boots are updated for the Euro DLC will it translate to the rest of FIFA 12 club teams?

    You right man, in my opinion, WC and Euro games were always the better games in the FIFA series. It felt that EA took the FIFA games and fixed all the wrongs, only for the following FIFA to be better and slightly more rubbish at the same time. I would have bought Euro 2012 if it was a stand alone game, knowing EA’s history of bringing out cracking games for both WC and Euro tournaments.

    @Procyon – cool, you don’t care that much about it. I don’t have to explain myself, it matters to a lot of people. You’re not better than anyone bc you don’t care. Get over it.

    Some people love boots/kits etc and others don’t care too much for them, myself I’m kind of in the middle. There are obviously more important things but if you took away that authenticity detail then the overall experience would definitely suffer. Boots are a small part of a much bigger visual package but shouldn’t be discounted.

    Screens look nice though, quick squad update for the tournament start and we’re in business.

    this sucks.. who cares with the boots!?
    What about the faces?? we are going to see to many crappy faces because they didnt make this game like they use to! So the same faces, same gameplay, no nice details like we use to get with these games.. dissapointed!

    @David Bryant- exactly, it’s not like the people who like boots/kits being updated don’t care about the other stuff. It’s a minor detail and would take minor work to update and not deter the crew at EA from working on anything else.

    It’s not as if they update gameplay as DLC for an individual title anyway, anything new would be in FIFA 13.

    Graphically it looks on par with Fifa 12. Does the implementation of the FIFA12 system mean that this is a customised version of Fifa 12 – in the form of Euro 12?

    I also wonder why Nasri is wearing generic boots?

    Boots and faces do make a difference. The thing is, in FIFA titles there are way too many players to authenticize making it difficult to authenticize everything. BUT.. in titles like EURO and WC they should have more room to include every face and boot since there are fewer teams! :)

    Thomas Muller and Nasri with generic boots??? And Christian Eriksens face looks ridiculous… There is still a lot of work to do for EA!!

    if they implicated these new boots into FIFA 12 it would be amazing! and does anyone know if player ratings will be again updated? or will they just be the same as the updated FIFA 12 ratings
