FIFA 12 Career Mode Podcast

After the Career Mode embargo officially ended yesterday, the latest FIFA 12 Podcast is now available on iTunes and it’s a bit of a Career Mode special as Rom and Stevie talk exclusively to Simon Humber about this years managerial offering. There also a few bits about the FIFA 12 PC version which we thought looked and played fantastically well at yesterdays play test.

    FIFA 12 podcasts are pretty boring so don’t think I can bring myself to listen, will wait for the much better fifasoccerblog one.

    @Krash yes still lethargic BUT there are now loads of gameplay sliders and Pass Speed is one them, so I was able to tweak it to my liking instantly.

    Good to know. but the sad thing sliders are only for offline according to a Rutter interview :( I play online mostly. hope they improved the passing.

    David Bryant…..we’re gonna have carrer mode in PC version this year?

    @lfc4life yes, the same Career Mode is in the PC version this year. The PC version will also have Ultimate Team as well.

    dave was there any positive story’s in career mode, seems like there all negative ?

    Have they brought back the ability to view all the transfers that CPU teams have made? This feature was available in FIFA 10 but for some reason wasn’t there in FIFA 11 and you basically had almost no way of knowing all of the transfers that CPU teams made. Most of the big ones would appear in the news section but it’s far from all of them.

    David Bryant is there trading of players in manager career mode?

    Dave, do you happen to know if the UT will be multi-platform, in the sense that you would be able to trade with them? Because in E3 they talked about how all the FIFAs would be connected to each other some way or another.

    Dave, although FIFA 11 was a more complete package than fifa WC2010, I couldnt help feeling that fifa WC was a much much more enjoyable game, in all aspects. Build up, goals, dribbling, crossing, long shots, finishing, drive, everything. From your time with Fifa 12, do you believe that Fifa 12 will be a more enjoyable than Fifa WC?

    Obviously it will be a better and more complete package, but would it feel as enjoyable while your playing the game? Appreciate all the hard work you guys do at FSB.

    When in Fifa in career mode for ex., will we see, where you can make your own manager, give him clothing, appearance, hairstyle and so on. And see him on the pitch like in the WC 2010. hope fifa gets more visually in career mode and in everything, in transfers, training, and press conferences before and after a match with coaches and players, and when they buy new players, so we can see players be presented in the Club with fans journalists, television camera as in reality, and not only in text, it doesn’t give the same feeling like when its visually. Fifa needs to do more work on that and the graphic and not only the gameplay. Fifa have the last couple of years almost only focused on the gameplay, and today its very good, but all the other things in the game, all the football outside the pitch, cant match the quality of the game on the pitch and that is very sad. I hope it will come soon, in the near future of fifa.
