FIFA 12: H2H Seasons Hub

With everything that’s been going on in the last week, we almost forgot to post this, almost…

It’s a screenshot of the Head2Head Seasons hub posted by Gareth Reeder, It shows your projected points, best finish in both seasons and cups, your overall record, form from your last 6 matches, your record in the current season, remaining games and how long is remaining until the cup window opens again.

Anything else you think needs to be shown in there?

Looks like this could be a nice addition to the fifa series. Ive never really been one for playing much Manager modeor basic online.
This should give me a bit of variation to the only mode i currently play (Ultimate team).

It is not a punishment for quitters that they don´t get points for that game.

They already know, that they don´t get some, that´s why they quit!

To only raise the DNF quote and match them with people with an equal DNF is not enough i think. They should be punished harder, loose points, whatever, cause the behaviour of many many people is quite poor and a game .. online .. is always as good as the people playing it …

  • Bart Van Geert aka Scorp1o

The quitters are taking away their biggest win they had before. So it’s actually minus 3 points.

  • Marcus

@Bart Van Geert aka Scorp1o: we should not mix up people that quit with those who cheat and steel your points. Here it´s about those who quit. And quitters did not get any points in FIFA11. So nothing is changing about points.

It´s just the DNF %. That´s not enough.

Personally, if it’s on UT… the quiter should recieve no win and the DNF modifier should go down, whereas the other gamer should recieve their DNF x 800 coins so that they get the maxinum for that match. I hate it when someone quits early and you get like 400-500 coins no matter what your DNF modifier is.

On UT the gamer should definitly get the maxinum 800 coins x their DNF modifier whatever stage the game is in when the opponent quits =).

So simple and easily solves the massive UT quitting problem!

  • Bart Van Geert aka Scorp1o

@Marcus People who quit in H2H Seasons will not only get zero points for the game they quit, they will also lose their biggest win they played before as sort of a punishment. Not me saying this, it’s EA’s words.

Why punish have anymore punishment for quiters there not achieving anything by quiting. They are just risking getting relegated or just slowing down there path to promotion.
If they keep quiting there just not going to get promoted.
As long as the person they quit against recieves the points and get the correct score also having that game logged for trophies/achievments which has’nt happened in the past games, then there is not much else to be done.
Its a annoyance yes but only for that 5 seconds after its happened

  • Dejilinho

People talk about quitters… What about when I lose connection due to EA Server?

  • procyon

    “Dejilinho says:
People talk about quitters… What about when I lose connection due to EA Server?”

That is just tough beans. You will just have to accept the loss and no points. EA cannot worry about that if they are to solve the problem of rage quitters. There has to be some collateral damage.

  • Alex

Yo Dejilinho, I’ve played over 1500 H2H games and my DNF is 1%! When I go to my player hub online my total number of DNFs are 9! 9 times out of 1500 I got disconnected from the EA servers or lost my own internet connection, do you really think 9 out of 1500 is something that we need to worry about?!

  • aafa

What if I’m in an area with poor internet connection, how is that my fault? And shouldn’t they be able to differentiate between a rage quit and an unintentional quit?

  • Tom Mills

@aafa but how would they tell the difference? i’m pretty sure there’s no way to tell the difference between a connection drop and someone pulling their router.

  • @MrPatr1ck

What is this mode about? I’m new to the FIFA series. Thanks

  • Alan Crosby

Your internet connection is your own responsibility so tough luck if its bad. Fifa can’t be responsible for that. I really hope they get tough on quitters, they should be given bans and they’d soon stop doing it.
