FIFA 12: iOS

We were big fans of FIFA 11 on the iPhone, so we’re dead chuffed that FIFA 12 is now available for download from the App Store.

The iPhone version is going to cost you £3.99, the download is 1.02GB and it’s compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone4, iPod Touch (3rd and 4th Gen) and iPad. You’ll need to be running iOS 3.1 or later. The dedicated iPad option is £5.99.

The game boasts 22 leagues, 500 teams and over 15,000 players. Plus improved touch controls, touched upon here, such as touch controlled penalties and free kicks and “gesture driven skill moves”.

Whilst the changes to controls sound good, the biggest change has to be the inclusion of Manager Mode, which includes transfers, staff upgrades and scouting.

We’ll hammer it over the coming days and get a review up when we can, but if you don’t want to wait, you can get it now on the App Store.

    Bought FIFA 11 on my iPhone, played it a couple of times but still not enough to justify my £0.59.

    Can’t see me justifying £3.99 for FIFA 12 on my i-Phone, just don’t play it enough.

    I played FIFA11 almost everyday during one year…and now i bought FIFA12 as soon as it was available…

    It´s AWESOME…controls are just perfect, manager mode is great, graphics are improved

    But, i still would love to have online multiplayer, being able to upload replays to youtube, and having the simple tournment mode…waiting for updates.

    Also, when using the iphone has controller for ipad, why do we need a second iphone? I think many people would love to use this even for single player

    In FIFA 11 I could just enter a cup or league under the Game Modes. Anyone know where I do this under FIFA 12?

    In the manager mode at the end of the season I can’t move to to another team or stay in the same team I was hold in the loading page for 10mins I try this twice can anyone help me and fix it

    Hey, when i’m playing manager mode with spurs, e.x . After a win. I allways got reduction . So, now im on 150.000- ?! and some times i got 0 coins from tickets? why? please help me!

    Am I being utterly stupid or is there no option to play a whole league, or domestic/international tournaments on the standard version? How do you access the appropriate menu to play this?

    To Martin & Sid: Nope, no leagues nor tournaments; probably replaced by Manager mode or will be added later

    Anyone knows how to change player kit numbers in manager mode? My new signings keep receiving number 2.
