FIFA 12 Screenshot Reveal at 17:00 GMT
That’s according to a teasing video which has popped up on the EA SPORTS FIFA Facebook page, which was the place to be for new FIFA information at the end of last year.
UPDATE: The official reveal has been confirmed for April 12th 17:00 GMT
Tom thinks it’s the most pointless video of all time. What do you think, excited?
Pip says:
I promised myself I wasn’t going to be sucked into the hype machine this year as it inevitably leaves me extremely disappointed come release day.
pat says:
The screenshots are always soooo rendered, always one million times better quality on these screenshots than if you’ll see it in the actual replay mode. Im really looking forward to them. Like someone said, there hasnt been any teasing about screenshots earlier.
ayhan says:
fifa11 was a big disappoinment and this turned me to pes again so fifa12 is very important for guys thinking like me.
HoB says:
So, to summarise. This is an article showing a picture of the video announcing a picture of a game?
I agree with Tom. Smacks of an overly high marketing budget. Still, seems odd that they’d be hyping up a screenshot so much when the last four or five FIFAs have looked more or less the same. Does that point to a new graphics engine, or a lack of self-awareness?
Tom Mills says:
I knew i wasn’t alone in thinking it. It’s just bizarre. That marketing meeting happened at 3am in a bar. no question about it.
Or…. It’s genius. because we are all talking about how dumb it is.
David Bryant says:
Wow Tom you’re right, we’ve fallen for their trap by posting and debating.
Marketing. Is. Power
Genius from EA… :)
Pioneer DJ says:
I do have to laugh at all the negative and bitchy comments on here about this up and coming screenshot, seriously people MAN UP!
anthonyOA says:
It’ll definitely have Rooney is it. EA are capatalising off of a certain huge match tonight.
anthonyOA says:

I’m sure EA aren’t worried as you are the only fool thinking like you!!.
PES is no longer the best footie game it once was on ps2. Its been absolute crap on next gen. As Rafael Benitez would say “Fact”
anthonyOA says:
easy there, mate. if konami manage to make their controls tighter they could be onto something special for the next PES.
steven says:
They need a new graphics engine, look at a football game on the television compared to a football game on FIFA, visually, it’s very different and unrealistic. Sort it out all FIFA’s are the same! Nothing exciting!
