FIFA 12 Ultimate Edition Revealed
It’s now confirmed that GAME and Gamestation will be the official retailers of the FIFA 12 Ultimate Edition which was revealed today. At the moment the FIFA 12 Ultimate Edition is listed for pre-order at £44.99 which is £10 lower than the RRP which is set at £55. This pricing structure is for the Ultimate Edition only at the moment and the standard version will obviously retail for less. Pre-order FIFA 12: Ultimate Edition available on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and receive 24 Gold Packs (4 packs per month for 6 months) to build your dream club in FIFA 12: Ultimate Team. Each pack is a mix of 12 items, including players, contracts, stadiums, managers, staff, fitness, healing, balls, kits and badges. Gold Packs consist of players rated 75+ in-game and include one rare item. Rare items include enhanced player attributes, longer contracts and the most coveted players.”

RedAge your sadly right, but, eventually anyone with any sense won’t buy either PES or Fifa and will do without a football game. I can’t go out and buy something knowing full well it hasn’t had any effort put into it. I can’t buy something from someone knowing I’m being scammed.
The thing is I don’t need fifa or PES as there are plenty of things to do other than video games, but they need me to buy and once people stop buying into this scam they are in big trouble.
Just remember they need YOU to keep buying. The way to get quality is to stop being scammed.
If other people are happy to keep on buying, thats their choice, but I can’t buy anymore of the same rubbish that I’m being fed.

Yes but if people feel they want to buy packs than you should not be the one to question them about it the ultimate edition is a great idea with many advantges that people are going to love.

I really do hope that they improve Fifa 12 to the level that I wont regret buying it. I will admit Fifa 11 wasnt the best game they ever made but they probably know that many gamers were disappointed with it. To be honest I do not care about UT I never play it but the Ultimate Edition should come with a lot more than just the UT made better. EA should read through some comments people leave on website like this and try and satisfy everyone.

If you do not like the FIFA games then there is a very simple soloution, don’t buy them. No one is forcing you to spend the £40 on it each year. Personally i will be buying the game (probably the ultimate edition) because i like the games and can play them for much longer than i can most other video games making it good value for money in my opinion. However, maybe people that dont like the games should look for alternatives rather than just buying FIFA every year and complaining.
