FIFA 12 Wins Best Sports Game Golden Joystick Award

Whilst FIFA 13 has been grabbing all the headlines for both the right and wrong reasons of late, FIFA 12 won itself a Golden Joystick award today for the Best Sports Game of 2012. Hooray!

FIFA 11 won the award last year, so once again it’s EA SPORTS biggest franchise doing the business and I’m sure none of us would be surprised if FIFA 13 won next year too. Fans of NBA 2K I’m sure continue to scratch their heads.

The big winner though was Skyrim which not only bagged the coveted Game of the Year award but also Top Gaming Moment and Best RPG. We assume that isn’t based on the fact it was virtually unplayable on PS3 and is still missing DLC released months ago on other platforms.

But anyway, FIFA 12 won so rejoice or moan about the relevance of these awards in the comments.

    Game sucked, FIFA 13 better but just as glitchy. But, both games are addicting and fun for some reason.

    i think this is just a big joke because i am still playing it and the players are so retarded That the only way i can take it is to laugh. I am not the biggest fan of basketball games but i think 2k Should it win, the biggest problem Is that FIFA does not have good competition, this is the only reason why year after year They throw at us gamers an unfinished game for the price that is not worth for an unfinished product. In the overall it still a nice game but not for the price we pay EA should be ashamed of and do a fifa that really deserves the hard earned money of the people
