FIFA 13 Confirmed For gamescom 2012

It’s pretty much a given these days that the latest FIFA title appears at gamescom but with recent speight of publishers dropping out of trade shows we’ve had confirmation via press release that FIFA 13 will be on show at gamescom 2012.

Here’s what the Senior Vice President of EA European Publishing Jens Uwe Intat, had to say…

“gamescom is a pillar for our industry –  The show is truly unique in its capacity to draw both industry and consumers to a showcase of the year’s hottest entertainment offerings and we’re looking forward to being there in force again in 2012.”

As well as FIFA 13 you can expect to see Medal of Honor Warfighter, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Crysis 3, SimCityand others. Gamescom takes place in Cologne, Germany from August 15-19th. EA will hold its annual gamescom media briefing on Tuesday, August 14th at 4pm.

Looking forward to the influx of poorly recorded FIFA 13 gameplay from gamescom? Us too.

No surprise but still nice to have confirmation. Lots of publishers are dropping trade shows left right and centre at the moment, so it’s good EA are still supporting gamescom.

David, do you know when EA is announcing info on career mode? I’ll be looking out for that!

All I want is Career Mode info :)

will there be finally an online career mode? I mean, do a normal career mode but playing coop with a friend online.. I don’t think it will but..

I coop career mode with a mate every week and love it, online would be amazing!

I’d love to see individual stats for each of us, who passed, tackled, shot, scored the most etc….

    Hi there,

A question on Leagues and Clubs in FIFA 13, I was thinking about the clubs that have the money to lure in the “oldies” to their club with the likes of drogba, del peiro and anelka with plenty to follow, are you considering bringing in smaller leagues like the Chinese Super League, J-League and some other smaller leagues in all continents.

And a couple of other things, will the new A-League club Western Sydney FC be in in the game? and also for smaller leagues the wages are quite small and harder to bring in legends of the game like del piero and drogba and many more. their wages will be too high to actually have full control of them and not get them on loan. have you changed that? And also their are a few players that are in the national teams but not in the actual clubs because you dont have those clubs, can you put them in the free aganets list instead of not existing in career mode?
