FIFA 13 Console Patch Delayed

We were expecting it to roll out this weekend for Xbox 360 and PS3, but it looks like it won’t be.

A couple of tweets from the Official EA Twitter account confirm that they’ve hit a snag.

So it looks unlikely that we’ll see it this weekend and there are no details on when it will become available. Brilliant.

    Unbelieveable, after delivering an unfinished game they come up with shit like this! What a shame… BRING BACK PLAYER MANAGER ANDVP FOR ALL OFFLINE MODES

    After delivering an unfinished game EA comes up with shit like this.. Unbelieveable! What happend with EA.. Also bring Player Career and VP for all offline modes back, that was a mode that wás working!

    Wow..EA have really outdone themselves this year absolutely abysmal service.

    They release an unfinished game full of bugs and now this.

    I really wouldn’t be surprised if PES takes the crown back sometime soon and if they do EA only have themselves to blame

    Well this is actually a first. Well, a first time in Fifa that PC users actually got a chance to gloat about something and treated first, surprising indeed. I would suspect they must have found a patch bug very late on and its probably best to nail it before deployment than keep people happy for “doing something” then explode in a mass can of larger worms with “Typical EA with bugs created from bug fixes!!!!!!ZZZOMAGG!!!!!!!!!!!!” … not great, but could have been far, far worse.

    I dont know if its the “lucky” number (FIFA) 13 thats adding to the dreadfullness, but it IS safe to say that FIFA 13 has/is a curse of it’s own..
    on a side note yet another “hilarity” – Del Piero (sydney) + Heskey (newcastle jets) + Gudjohnssen (cercle brugge) : all were known to be moving to their new clubs weeks if not more then a month ago – STILL not in the game (including yesterdays squads update)…
    WHILE Edgar Davids (announced days ago) as a player-manager of Barnet (thanks for removing player-manager in CM by the way, cause its so unrealistic right..pff) IS there including other players from other teams that were signed later than the first 3 players mentioned above…
    so yeah..explain that..

    I can’t play Online Seasons for a week or so now, yet Online Friendlies I can. My game just freezes in the arena. So, first I was unable to play Career Mode as it froze each time I tried to load it, because of my game face and now I can’t play Online seasons. This has to be the worse launch in FIFA history and that is with out going into issues in CM and Gameplay issues.Such as transfers in CM with Juventus buying a GK in the first season every time and the over accurate and unrealistic lob balls ruining everything.

    I found out yesterday online there is no auto take corners, like with other deadball situations e.g freekicks,goalkicks. so playing online last night a guy(birchy28 x) wins a corner in first 10 minutes does nothing for afew minutes then sends me messages pretending his game froze, i just left the game running but unforntuately i lost my internet connection so took a loss.
    amazing levels people will go to for a win, does anyone know if this is something EA are aware of or whether its gonna get sorted.

    I hope they fix the through ball over the top which makes absolutely no difference regarding this so called first touch and the super accurate shooting regardless if you’re a bronze, silver or gold player. Once again the assisted people get an even greater advantage against anyone who wanna play the game controls differently. Another year of broken promises, lies and money in their back pockets.

    Yeah, the first touch control hasn’t been implemented properly at all. I play on manual, and so often a dead easy 5 yard pass results in the ball bouncing another five yards away due to a wayward touch, yet assisted users can ping it over my defence over and over without being punished for it. It’s infuriating.

    Mine worked fine, have never experienced any freezing or bug whatsoever. I don’t play online and haven’t tried going online with FIFA 13 so can’t comment on that. Maybe it’s an online bug that when you connect online it corrupts your disc, dunno. Hope they fix it soon however.

    Any update on the patch? I’m on the verge of snapping this disk and throwing it in the bin due to unresponsive button pressing, lag, player changing regardless whether its manual, air balls, auto. Super goals from ridiculous angles, no two games are at the same game speed or is that the unpredictability gimmick ea have been selling? I hate to go on and on but it’s at the point where is enough is enough!!! If I don’t do my job properly I’d get the sack!!!!
