FIFA 13 – Producer Interviews

As the demos draws closer news is getting a bit light, but there have been a couple of interviews to keep you ticking over.

Firstly, Click Online had a chat with Aaron McHardy about skill games, gameplay and the future:

“Alone the Attacking Intelligence might have opened the game up, but when you couple it with first touch control I think we’ve struck another nice balance this year. Yes, there’s things going on and you’re reading the game and you’re thinking like a footballer, but there’s consequences to playing that difficult ball that maybe in last year’s game you could ping that 40 yard ball over the top and your player would take it down perfectly. Now that pass might be on, but it might need to be a little bit more on this year to give you enough time, if your player hasn’t got the greatest touch, to be able to bring the ball down and make something out of it.”

And the FVPA have spoken to Online Producer Gareth Reeder about Pro Clubs:

“We also looked at the top peaks for all attributes in the real world, then saw how much you can gain in each attribute. The result is that the Pros start higher in FIFA 13 (73-75) and don’t get quite as high. This results in a more even playing field, and less of a gap between beginners and vets. Hopefully user skill will therefore be more important than raw stats in FIFA 13 vs FIFA 12.”

    Can i call up new players to the national team in international mode. Like If I or any other team scout a player via the youth system or any player already in the game from the certain country and he is good enough to make the national team, Can I call him up and give him an international career

    hey guys played 90% code of the game yesterday and the game feels amazing unpredictable and very realistic..
    I can tell that in that code the turkish league, the czech and the greek league is not in the game.. only galatasaray in rest of the world and the big teams from greece there..

    the only thing actually dissapointed me from this code was when you scored a goal you didnt get any close up by the players when they celabrate the goal like you see in fifa12..
    i dont get it when they have done so much work with the intro, the subs, and so on and then take away all the close ups/celebrations in the game!!
    Im so pissed if thats not in the final game!
    has any one else played it and have the same experience??

    apart from that im very happy with the overall i experienced with the game..

    In the skill games, are there any defending skill games and are they about the same in number as attacking skill games or other type of skill games? Would be good to have defending so that people can get good at defending and balance the game out skillwise.
