Already seen them all prior to now, they do in all fairness look quite fun. The inclusion of manual is very good.

The next step for FIFA 14; multiplayer skill games either in the arena or in Clubs.

Freekick skillgames are the ones i will play the most, with my man CR7.
Anyone else noticed that they have changed the ballphysics? The power shots of ronaldo look like the are real knuckleshots now cause they go down to the ground after a few meters if they dont rotate. In fifa12 powershots did only go straight in a line and did only go down behind the goal because the ball looses speed after a time. Hope it stays that way until zhe release and that they dont change it for retail :/ have they done this in previous games? Changing ballphysics and stuff

These skill games look very fun. As Clutch said they should take these into online lobbies and matchmaking, they already have leaderboards for them. Maybe allow for 1v1 and 2v2 games.

I am also surprised they didn’t integrate the skill games with offline Virtual Pro’s this could be the foundation for starting a new Pro so that they don’t enter as 60 overall players into the first matches. This would seem more fun to get a Pro up into the 70′s.

I do like the look of the Skill games. However, they should incorporate this and the normal arena/training mode into the Pro clubs to encourage people to practice together before they go into their matches.

wow the new freekicks of ronaldo seems like real. Ronaldo is very good in this game, is very real

  • Klaypex

    @ jokinha

Unfortunatally he only has 79 freekick acc. But it seems like he can destroy the net anyways :p

I enjoyed the training mode in PES 3 as it actually helped you to learn the intricacies of the game, ball physics, shot sweet spots etc. FIFA’s training mode looks to have surpassed it. It looks great and also a little more forgiving than PES was :)

I remember ‘UEFA Striker’ back on the PS1, it had a good training mode, I could spend hours when I was a kid playing it xD This one looks much better though!

Ronaldo is overpowered, that ain’t realistic at all. I can smell noobs that will abuse overpowered Real Madrid and Ronaldo this year again.

In the 5th video (crossing), Nepenthez said the player ratings arn’t finalised yet, will this mean the ratings may change between the demo and the proper game, or will the final ratings be on the demo?

  • anu anu

Interesting to hear Nepenthez say that he comes across so many “straight down the middle” penalty players, considering people seem to defend the “new” PK system whenever I’ve complained about it.

It’s a god-awful system, that because it has extra mechanics different to open play and set pieces, it requires the player to remember a whole new set of controls on the odd -yet possibly decisive – occasion.

It’s the bane of the casual FIFA gamer. I don’t know a single FIFA playing friend who either likes it or has a decent (and realistic to world life) success rate with it.

  • BIGENY

@anu anu well you met one now buddy! haha the main reason i love it is because it takes some actual skill instead of just pressing one single button. practice makes perfect.

  • BIGENY

@sanvir the ratings will probably change even from the demo. this is kinda unrelated to stats but i remember last year (in the demo) messi had the funniest looking picture on his player profile but then they changed that among other things. not really sure why i mentioned that but it was one of those weird things that stood out to me lol.
