FIFA 13 UK Launch Day

After the record breaking US launch on Tuesday, today FIFA 13 finally comes to Europe and our beloved United Kingdom.

Chance are most of you were queuing up in the early hours to grab FIFA 13 at a midnight launch near you and you’ve probably done an all-nighter and this text will seem rather blurry. For the rest of you, we hope that those exclusive pre-orders arrive on time in the post today and that you get your game on as soon as possible hopefully avoiding the last minute dash to the supermarket.

So esteemed European FIFA fans, do you have any amusing tales from the FIFA 13 midnight queues, and what do you think of this years game?

    After getting to my local supermarket at 12:20 it was pretty much empty
    The shop did have 6 tills open for just the FIFA’s I was in and out within 10mins , games awesome !

    Got mine this morning before work. A brisk bike ride to Asda in Newcastle at 7:30. Roll on home-time!

    Just been playing it for the past 2 hours, The speed of the game is insane even on Slow….and online is a joke i feel it plays in fast forward

    Not happy with it so far.

    I Pre-ordered mine from amazon so I could get the 10,000 easfc credits but it did not come with a code to redeem them with, any ideas how i get them??

    Is it just me or is Ultimate team super super unresponsive at the moment? I have been playing with the season pass this week with no problems whatsoever

    If they slow it down the game will be very good, Hitting corners is like a Ronaldo knuckle freekick the speed the ball travels. Fuck knows whats going on! Far to quick!

    i got mine today at least i think i did the games that fast they should have included sonic and knucles in the all star team, football isnt played at this speed its a joke

    I’m 17 years old and look like a gamer(don’t judge… ahem).

    Went to ASDA at 9AM for the game and two different, unrelated parents both came over and pressed me to ensure that they were getting the right game. One of them was close to threatening me he was so desperate to not get the wrong game. Just found it funny in retrospect as I was probably sending my own mother out in that state once upon a time.

    As far as the game itself goes – too many bugs, too fast. Otherwise aside from a few small things quite enjoying it.

    What have they done ?? The demo was superb this is nothing like the demo I’m so disappointed

    I was enjoying the game playing 3 – 4.5 star teams against a friend of similar age (30). Last night I played against my 15 year old brother with 5 star teams and the pace was frantic, lots of goals scored which seemed far too easy which I really disliked, I hardly had time to think. Anyway I think the game is great when it’s not played in this counter attacking style at 100 mph. In order to compete with this style of play is to play the same otherwise you’ll be steamrolled on the counter.
