FIFA 13 Ultimate Team Web App Opens 18th Sept

Good news FIFA fans, the FIFA 13 Ultimate Team Web App will open for business on September 18th.

Here’s the snippet from the press release that you’re all interested in:

“Early access to FIFA 13 Ultimate Team for all returning players begins September 18, enabling fans to start building and managing their FIFA 13 Ultimate Team via easportsfootball.com. Players will have access to the auction markets and other features in preparation for the season. In FIFA Ultimate Team fans earn, buy, trade and bid for coveted players to build a team of the world’s best football stars.”

No word on a release time as yet but I’m sure that will come via the EA SPORTS Twitter feed in due course. Expect some rewards for returning FUT players and hopefully (like the last two years) Daily Gifts as well.

    No word on what will be required for returning users to be offered FUT packs? really would be a shame if people who make 100 guest accounts are rewarded..

    I have preordered fifa 13 ultimate edition and it says that you will recieve 24 ultimate edition packs (one per week) however i dont no how or when i can get these packs.

    By returning players does that mean that you’ve had to have played FIFA 12?

    I would advise everyone to expect the web app to be launched on the 19th or 20th. Remember the ewb app last year. The delay was abismal and atrocious.

    @Jdhhfhfjdkks Smith “returning players” means you have to have played a version of FUT since the Web App came in to existence. As long as you’ve logged in/used the Web App before, you should be fine.

    @LOL indeed, once EA unveil the time it’s going to be overloaded with the entire community trying to get online. Probably best to avoid it like the plague for at least the first few hours, maybe even 24 as you said.

    The EAS football website has been all updated, and I think the new Creation Centre has come with it.

    I havent played UT in fifa12. Does that mean that i cant use the app till the game comes out?
