This rubbish game again. We need Football Manager blog. I don’t know why you guys are marketing for such a bad game. The game play doesn’t qualify as football.

  • David Bryant

@dude dudette this is “FIFA” Soccer Blog and therefore FIFA Manager comes under that remit. I appreciate it may not be to your taste but then simply don’t read/comment on posts about it.

I’m lovin fifa manager 12, alot less spreadsheet based football sim that doesn’t take a week to get through the 1st day

I’ve had a good go with it. I have to agree with the post above. Football manager is obviously insanely good, but I’ve been playing it since it’s first iteration as Championship Manager in ’92. That’s 20 years! It’s safe to say I’m over it to some extent. Fifa manager 12 hasn’t got the realism quite on the button yet, but it’s got a ton of stuff to do and I’m really enjoying it.

If only this was Career Mode, Fifa 12 would have been truly epic.

  • Rizla

I agree. If this was Career mode, I would be all over it as well!

  • Nick

I would buy this game if FIFA manager & FIFA career mode integration can happen. Charge me for 2 games if you want EA… I don’t mind that.

I like to enjoy non-footy games such as NBA2K, BF3, and soon to arrive Skyrim… they all require massive hours invested to truly enjoy them. So unfortunately, I don’t have enough time to play two football games as separate thesedays.

Definately, I’d pay £60+ for Fifa Manager 12 with Fifa 12′s game engine. Whether it’s viable for everyone though is another question. Plus maybe it’s disc capacity also. Who knows.

We can only dream I guess.

  • David Bryant

Guys interesting debate in here and we did ask the question when we interviews Gerald Kohler (search FSB) and he said it wouldn’t be impossible although it’s not something theyre looking at.

Also EA SPORTS don’t make FIFA Manager 12 a studio call Bright Future out in Germany do where this is game is seriously massive.

  • joel

@dave bryant. well of course its not impossible to combine both games, but we are talking about a business trying to maximise profit. two games make more money than one. some people here just forget ea etc. is a business.

  • Jason

Hi Guys, they did intergrate FIFA and FIFA Manager (or Total Club Manager as it was called) in 2008…it was epic, only issue was having to change disc before each game…but you could transfer your manager team to FIFA and vice-versa…
