FIFA Manager 13 Announced

FIFA Manager 13 has now been officially announced and you can find out about all the new features, as well as taking in some brand new screen shots in the press release below.

FIFA Manager 13 Press Release

Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that EA SPORTS™ and Bright Future will offer a range of dynamic new features that will enable fans to perfect the art of team management in EA SPORTS™FIFA MANAGER 13, which launches in Autumn 2012.

FIFA MANAGER 13 introduces Team Dynamics, a new feature that brings the role of the trainer to life, encouraging players to pay close attention to relationships, egos and goals of individuals within the team. As the trainer, you get an overview of team hierarchy, rivalry, personality clashes, personal goals, and much more. New individual player objectives have a special role, and your team will only be successful with enough team leaders and everyone working towards the same objectives. Two new features called Team Matrix and Hierarchy Pyramid enables fan to quickly identify which players are having challenges and their impact on team dynamics. From balancing player rivalries to spending enough time understanding and setting player expectations, FIFA MANAGER 13 will push you to perfect the art of team management.

Once again, the transfer market is the heartbeat of FIFA MANAGER 13. Players now consider more than 40 criteria when making their decision on whether or not to transfer to a new club. From the new menu item Next Season Planner you can plan your future team in detail, see the impact of integrating potential newcomers into your existing team and try out new players.

The game also takes a visual leap forward with higher resolution graphics, numerous new fan banners that create a livelier atmosphere in the stadiums, and fans now wear shirts, scarves and jackets that show off their team colours, just like real life. Plus, the 3D game option has been refined, and tactical orders and individual instructions to players now have seamless settings which enable gamers to further fine-tune their tactical plans.

The successful campaign “Your Feature!” introduced last year that enables fans of the series to help design the game is back, and fans can go to http://www.fifa-manager.com/13 to suggest and vote for features. In voting thus far, several thousand participants have chosen features such as “Regional Talent Scouts”, “Buy-back Options” and “Shooting Stars During The Season” for development in FIFA MANAGER 13. More voting will take place in the coming weeks.

If EA took the normal FIFA 13 and made the gameplay be a part of FIFA Manager 13 – they would sell atleast the double amount of copies!

Could it be possible on the next gen? XBOX 720 – FIFA 14 included with FIFA Manager 14 would be an amazing game – seriously!

    damn still the same here….

pes 2013 brings on the same “features” as fifa does…. every year the two games are copying the features from an older version of the other game…. im so sick of this shit

  • Mohammed

Nothing beats the FA Premier League Football Manager 99, all the other series are crap

  • David

I like the team dynamics feature. Would be nice if EA would implement this kind of team dynamics into FIFA 13.

i’ve always felt FM since 09 has been geared towards the casual gamer. i still like it and looking forward to FM13.

  • http://EA EA its in the name??

Electronic Arts you should be ashamed of yourselves. How can you let these pathetic developers use the Fifa brand name? This game is such poor quality. The 3d match engine screen shots they hide each year to try not to let everyone that might buy it know that they are using the same old awful engine that they used in 2009. How bad is it you ask? Well….players dont run or sprint – well they do but you can tell..yep the animations awful…best of all though is the comentrary bugs there every year for instance as newcastle im told im chelsea..then that im managing the national team…then that suarez has scored instead of ba..hmm..dont get me started about games where ref just gives 11 people cards, strikers that do weird things ie one on one pass backwards, and best of all every cross gets caught by the keeper well 99.9% of time ur world class winger 9 out of 10 puts it into keepers hands. Look..i could go on all day..i love football – I would LOVE a management game based on Fifa 2012s match engine but this piece of rehashed rubbish off EA is not it. This year one of the improvements they are implementing is being able to take your team to a different resturant to eat out – i kid you know this is the sort of thing the developer thinks is important – they must have like one person working on putting this rubbish game together each year – last year they said they were bringing in a new team to work on the 3d…cant see what they have done apart from put more flags in the crowds which look awful..the crowds are 2d and from the side are just a line thats how bad this game is. DONT BUY 2013 version its the only way we can get EA to drop these useless developers – Bright we want to ripp you off every year while telling you the rubbish we are selling you is better than last years rubbish…..hmm i believed them last year after staying away for 2 years and getting 2012 version i was blown away by seeing all the same bugs and gripes from 2 years ago. EA…you should be ashamed – wheres the EA brand quality? this title looks like shareware……

Football manager is crap compared to fifa manager love my fifa manager graphics an commentary do need improving however.football manager nil commentary shit graphics

  • me

at least they should use Fifa 11 (not FM11) 3D match (A.I., graphics and animations) or it will feel like I’m still playing FM10… 3D matches till Fifa Manager 10 made it the best of the football managers imo. 3D matches in Fifa Manager 11 and 12 feel old and suck…

In my humble opinion the only thing that seperates
football manager from my favorite Fifa Manager is
    the length of the matchplay.
Oh to be able to watch the full match. as in F.M.
    Is it possible ?
