A criticism of EA over the last few years has certainly been the lack of patch support for FIFA and at times communication surrounding the biggest issues. But not this year as Romily Broad has confirmed on the EA SPORTS FIFA podcast that the first patch is just 2-3 weeks away. He also emphasised the teams commitment to support FIFA 12 throughout the game’s release cycle.

“the first patch for the console will be coming out with in days, like maybe 14 or 21 of them… we’ll be doing this constantly with our thumb in the middle of the community asking what they want for the whole of the season, and that’s a commitment we’re definitely making”
Great news I’m sure you’ll agree, and lets hope the issues causing the most frustration for the most people are mopped up and eradicated at the first time of asking.
