these pictures tell me that thıs year grafics of fifa12 will be very good but also gameplay must be at same level to be a good soccer game

What about an announcement sayin’ “WE HAVE FIXED MICRO PAUSING”!!! It’s an absolute joke that the fifa developers can’t even fix issues with a game they currently have on the shelves!

    Thanks for the link Dave.

I think Adam Neaves has got a point (and a pretty good analogy!).

The differences are quite subtle on initial inspection but the more you study the image the more level of detail you see. I’m impressed so far. Zoom in on the ball for example and it’s actually quite difficult to tell it apart from a real Nike T90 Tracer!

If you try to imagine this level of detail in the gameplay and cut scene graphics with a lot more going on I reckon we’re in for a pretty nice looking game.

But like everyone else I’m sure, I’d by happy with FIFA11 graphics so long as the gameplay is spot on and the online connectivity issues are ironed out.

I think im just gonna sit on the fence for this one. What i will say is that i see some definite improvements over the graphics of FIFA 11. On a personal note the graphics have always came second for me behind the gameplay itself. This is why the comment coming from David Rutter recently, “revolutionary year for FIFA… especially in the gameplay department.” interests me more than this screenshot in all honesty. Lets just say FIFA 12 is going to be very interesting indeed.

The link for that Rutter quote by the way is:

Foysal – what else were you expecting from a screenshot? Does us saying the lighting looks better mean that we don’t give a toss about gameplay? It’d be jokes to think that.

Like I said, it’s wrong to look at this pic as something that should explain all the differences between 11 and 12. That just isn’t possible with a still image (unless it’s of a press release), and it’s not something EA want to put out there yet.

i am a little afraid of this from rutter,-
revolutionary year for FIFA… especially in the gameplay department.
    Why?
Because its always the gameplay thats important, i know it is, but the problem is that all the other things is for me only halve done..

  8. fifaaddict says:

Same old screenshot i cant even tell the difference :) as long as they add the ability to save full game at the end of a disconnection or match just like it is on PC version.

  9. Stardog says:

The player models in FIFA have always been lame. PES wins on this one. This looks the same as the previous games.

They need to work on the proportions, and maybe even less polygons would make them look less smooth and weird.

WTH these graphics are gonna be awesome gamepplay best be good tho !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they need to work on the faces of the players they are not very realistic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
