UT Hacked 20

FUT 13 Hacked?

Earlier this afternoon, twitter lit up. To the point where “15 Million” was listed as a related search to FIFA 13. Why? Because UT appears to have been hacked in some way, but we can’t seem to find anything concrete.

All we know is that some ridiculous bids were being put in on certain players, some up to  15,000,000. The most popular theory seems to be that someone glitched an unlimited amount of coins, or at the very least an absolute shitload, and started spending them pretty wildly.

There’s been a bit of speculation on the official forums, with people complaining of threads related to the topic being deleted but nothing from EA as yet, apart from a few tweets along these lines and a similar post on Facebook.

Hopefully EA can get auctions up and running again quickly, but there’s still the question of what to do about the glitched funds. Some FUT players were able to sell cards for huge values and they technically haven’t done anything wrong, so do EA let them keep those coins, or do they have to reverse the transactions to try and return normality to the market?

If you know anything more about this issue, please let us know in the comments.

*UPDATE* EA have acknowledged the issue on the forums with the following statement:

While we work to resolve an issue we’ve temporarily disabled FIFA 13: Ultimate Team. This is to ensure that an optimal experience can be sustained in the future. FUT13 online gameplay, trading, store purchasing, the Web App, and the mobile companion app will be unavailable during this time.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have additional information throughout the coming days. Other FIFA 13 online game modes will not be affected.

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience. LINK.

So, bad to worse as the whole of FUT gets disabled. Again.

Fifa’s servers are garbage. I get they have a huge client base and server load, but man, they’re never working properly.

EA must make a fortune out of fut but they do not seem to value the income because its constantly down and riddled with cheats scammers ect surely people who pay £40+ for the game and who knows what for the fut should be due a bit more fairness

Not everyone cares about playing many get their enjoyment purely out of making coins and working the market.I know one lad who has millions of coins and is yet to play a game, his enjoyment comes purely from trading, buying and selling.

It is bad mind, EA seem to be finding more and more issues with each release, I’m thinking nothing will change until the next full rebuild of FIFA, maybe for the next gen console.

Even if you contact ea they give you the same rubbish about updtaes and maitanence rather than actually being honest.

How is anyone that actually uses FUT normally without scamming or glitching the system meant to ever earn or make enough coins to afford a half decent team

When I bought the game, I was dying to buy messi. He was 1.3 Million at that time.

After 3 months of playing and trading, I am still less than 200k. After seeing his price go up to 15 Million, I think it is impossible to buy him.

The average price is also rising.

In my opinion, the prices you see are actually traders transferring coin.

Some websites are offering 1Million coins for 120$. The ones who buy coins with real money actually have put some key players for sale. Xavi, Messi have gone for crazy prices. This has also influenced the market which is very unstable at the moment. The problem is that there are more than 100 coin dealers online and more than 1000 coin dealers offline. They must be stopped.

The problem is not easy to solve.
Some traders have bough messi for 3 Million thinking that the prices will go further up. Now EA cannot control the prices..

    Real Mess.

I recently bought a player and was told that I had won him. The coins were deducted from my account, but I do not actually have the player. He isn’t in my club or watch pile so I have no money and no player. What do I do?
