Golden Joystick: FIFA 11 Wins Best Sports Game

Hot off the press from the Golden Joystick 2011 awards comes the news that FIFA 11 has scooped the prize for best sports game, fighting off competition from Football Manager 2011, MLB 11 The Show, NBA 2K 11, NHL11, NBA Jam, PES 2011, Top Spin 4 and others.

So just when all the focus has shifted to FIFA 12, FIFA 11 bites back by netting one of the more esteemed prizes in the gaming awards calendar.

    No, Fifa 11 was absoloutly terrible, and there is something definitly biased in the voting system if it actually beat Football Manager to the award, because unlike Fifa 11, there was actually barely any critisisms to the Football Manager game and 100% of the game was there with many more improvements and without a single bugs (unlike Fifa; Ea servers wrecked online and too many glitches in the overall game).

    football manager should have won it by a country mile!…Money and sales do talk though.

    FIFA 12 is better than 11, 11 stank. That said I only bought FIFA 12 because I was able to not spend a dime as I used store credit and had it price matched at $40.
