It’s FIFA 12 UK Release Day

The day that everyone has been waiting for is finally here. Through various channels people have had their hands on FIFA 12 for a while now, but today, it’s available everywhere.

Firstly, we hope our coverage this year has been up to scratch, but more importantly we hope you’re all enjoying it.

If anyone has any pictures from attending a midnight launch or is still sat at the bottom of the stairs waiting for the letterbox to rattle, let us know in the comments.

    God damn …. pre ordered from amazon using free delivery and it ain’t coming till the 5th of october ….. how s**t is that.

    If there is anyone that comes on this that has pre-ordered from amazon using the free delivery option could you tell me when they said your’s would get delivered?As I said,mine is supposed to be getting delivered on the 5th of October,but people have told me it could be delivered 1-2 days after the release date.

    @Champions87, i live in crawley and spent hours talking to them online and then by phone and they said they had been a problem with the shipping centre so a majority of the orders will be delayed. they say between 4th-6th October is when I can expect to get it. to be fair, they were nice and gave me a 15 quid credit to my account. guess i’ll just be camped out at my mate’s till mine arrives LOL

    Yeah I also pre-ordered mine from amazon, many months ago, and it hasn’t arrived. And if it fails to arrive tomorrow, then it wont’ be here till Monday. This happened last year as well, it came 5 days late, I was not impressed. And I have also arranged a FIFA 12 tournament with 32 of my friends at my house tomorrow. Awkward when you’re hosting a FIFA 12 tournament and you don’t actually have FIFA 12.

    Pre-ordered mine from Amazon and it arrived today. First impressions are great, only played a few matches but can already see and feel the difference in the gameplay. Looking forward to getting stuck into Creation Centre etc. over the weekend.

    Luckily it came out tues here in the usa. I guess cause theres a bigger fanbase here compared to the UK. Anyway, its amazing. You guys will love it. Best footy game ever

    Thats what you get for ordering with the Free delivery lads. I thought about it but then went for first class, i got mine on time so i bet they send these out first then the free ones.

    any idea tom if they will tweak the a,i? or any tips on getting the a.i to shoot from outside the box? they are forever walking the ball in. Custom tactics dont seem to work. Pass on the message will ya! :)

    @Tom Mills I know i’m a bit angrier now lol … @saalik haleem,@Peter Khoo … what it is but,I chose the free delivery option which is why I’m not getting mine today I think,but did you choose the free delivery or first class postage?I’m just praying it’ll get delivered tomorrow.

    @Champions67 I chose free delivery option, I was pondering on whether to get first class delivery, but seeing as it was a pre-order I assumed that they would ship it out a couple of days before the game got released

    ordered the special edition on JUNE 6th from Amazon and they managed not to get it to me for release day!

    I went to my local ASDA and picked it up instead – Amazon shall be getting their copy back

    Me and 3 others at work all sending the late ones back, perhaps with MW3 they’ll send it out a bit earlier

    @Tom, i have mate. Ive found though that it seems to be linked to the contain button. if you dont press it in tactical defending the cpu tends to shoot a bit more, usually a few yards outside the box.

    When you press contain it seems to trigger the a.i to try and walk the ball in. I dont know if this is a script to replicate a team trying to break down stubborn opponents, but even when contain is used and theres a little gap for a shot they will hold on to the ball. Think it needs tweaking myself.

    this my first experience with Amazon UK. they seem well shit??? should have got it from shopto.net you guys are right. the amazon in the USA where I went on holiday is AMAZING. they delivered stuff to my cousin’s soooooo fast and he had Prime for FREE for being a student so it was no extra cost. wish amazon UK was as good.

    @champions67 if u push for it, i am sure you can get the credit too. good luck blud

    im having same problems its good you guys got it from asda etc but you cant get special edition on shops only online except GAME where they do ULTIMATE edition, so better off keeping amazons to get the code and proper special edition game
