No LAN For FIFA 12 PC
Interesting one this and I’m sure it will disappoint some PC gamers but it seems like FIFA 12 PC, whilst finally being on par with the console equivalent will no longer feature LAN support. It’s a move EA have decided to take to combat the piracy of FIFA 12 due to previous versions being exploited due to their LAN functionality.
Long old video attached but if you skip to 07:10 you’ll hear lead FIFA 12 PC producer Ian Jarvis both reveal and explain the decision.
So PC fans, are you annoyed by this? Or do you simply accept that publishers these days will go to any lengths to try and minimise the piracy of PC games, which in all honesty is rife?

If the game is worth it on PC I’ll buy it. It ain’t I won’t simple. I’ll just play on Xbox/PS3

I think the fact that they are making identical games on all versions fades every other disadvantages…

Sad news but I understand why they did it. Since they finally made the PC version on par with the console versions, I think the absence of LAN can be forgiven…
