PAH, they’re just trying to get us to play their fangled game on Facebook.

First they lured us onto Facebook with that FIFA11 fanpage that you needed to view to see “exclusive vids”. And now they have us on there they want us to play their new Flash-based exploits in order to “unlock” huge additions to the demo. “Arsenal”, Emirates Stadium, etc.

Cheeky isn’t the word to describe it!

i must admit i wasn’t a fan of the Facebook page. If we ever get round to releasing the podcast bloopers (as we keep promising) you will find out why.

Why complain, when it isn’t something you HAVE to do? If you want Arsenal, you will obviously do it. If you don’t want to do it and want Arsenal still, you have the option to wait a couple of weeks for the game’s release.

Just a quick note here, this piece of news can be deceiving! With the whole “console and PC integration” and the PC demo release date below, I thought the PC demo was included in this promotion, so I signed up for the Facebook game to THEN find out that these benefits only apply to console owners. Should’ve known better!

I don’t have a problem with it. The game on FB is easy enough to use a few lunch-break minutes and I’m actually quite enjoying it. There are a load of mistakes in it though. They’ve mis-spelt names for big stars like Cech and Vidic (and I’m talking about the Vidic part, not the more complicated Nemanja!). They also have Geremi playing at Newcastle! How much do they want to offend us Magpie fans?!
Anyway, at least this FB thing gives me something to do until the demo comes out. Play it if you want, or don’t.
