Podcast 02 – FIFA 13 Revealed

 

We hit you guys with five huge FIFA 13 posts this morning detailing Attacking Intelligence, Complete Dribble, First Touch Control, Impact Engine and Tactical Freekicks. But now it’s time for Team FSB go in depth in the second podcast of the new series.

    Most encouraging news is that they’ve listened to the community. Not just on one or two items but the list really addresses major things the community wants to see changed that aren’t gimmicky headlines. Especially the close control. I really think that is one of those fundamental, foundational things that if implemented properly is going to change the game significantly. Can’t wait till you guys get some hands on it and can relay the feedback. Ultimately its all noise until we see how it plays. However, it is good noise.

    Great podcast guys, can’t believe they’ve already shown you gameplay footage. Although how you’ve reflected on those major annoyances in FIFA 12 and compared them to 13, has kinda spoilt 12 for me now. :(

    Also, i agree with the fact that they’re overhauling for the offensive AI for 13 but not the defensive AI (despite doing so in FIFA 12), we could be in risk of having falling into that trap of having inbalance between attacking and defending.

    It would be really great to improve the facial expressions on the players, it would gave a lot more realistic experience. Also, show more players experience on the player career mode and not only show the date…

    we need more details on contain and defending which is terrible by the way. There’s no way to get close in on an attacker with contain and there needs to be!

    Hello, @Tom.. Can you plz tell Toby that according to this interview CPU AI will be made MORE HUMAN? Aaron says this around 4:10 but during the podcast it seems like Toby missed it. They are going to have LESS reaction time hopefully. Plz remind him so he can “be happy” .. ^_^ It would be great to see that his wish is finally granted in the form of MORE HUMAN CPU AI. Cheers!

    or you can buy one game and the other year the other game. exemple fifa12 and next year pes2013…it is a good way to feel some fresh!!! changing in the game and to be more objective concernong the comparaison between those two games.
