Podcast 06 – Pro Predictabiliality

Alternatively titled two idiots with an internet connection. Anyway, The demo is here!

You’re all playing and talking about it, so we decided to talk about it too, along with the rest of the news that’s hit the site since the last podcast and we made up a word as we went along. It’ll catch on, I’m sure of it.

We don’t normally like to ask, but if you do subscribe via iTunes could you give us a rating and/or review? We’d appreciate that. We’re also popping these up on YouTube now too. It’s all the rage. You can subscribe to our channel if you want, we’re going to start using it. Promise.

I’ve had my game switch players on me while I was set to “none”.. So i’d be running one way an it would switch me, next thing i know it, I’m running out of position with my CB. -___-

You guys mentioned something about 6 minute halves….was that a joke?

  • Tom Mills

@ham yes, listen to podcast 5 and it’ll make sense

  • Ham

hmm I cant be bothered going over it again. It’s not about 6min halves for the PS3/360 is it?

  • JP Rodriguez

I really like how they toned down the finish shots. I was tired of people on virgin gaming curling a shot with Ronaldo from 30 yards out every single time.

Is it just me or is Podcast 6 the same episode as #5 in iTunes? Different program description, same audio file.

  • Bill

Ah, nevermind. Didn’t see the previous comments about this.

Funny podcast, lovely pace and humor. Kinda like fifa 13. s:

This is a little in the weeds, but in the podcast you guys address complaints about midfield feeling bypassed. Partly a result of players sending their midfielders on runs & then those mids are caught out of position when transitioning back to defense. This is an excellent point, something to be mindful of. However, I still feel the central mids leave too much space, or rather don’t compress the space in front of the back four when the ball enters the attacking third. Perhaps this is a job for Custom Tactics & formation editing but I feel the midfielders don’t protect the back four enough. Thoughts?
