Podcast 07 – The Review One, Kind Of

This one has been up on our You Tube channel for a little while now due to some technical difficulties caused by our recent server move. But alas, it’s now fixed so here’s our FIFA 13 Review Podcast, sort of…

For this one myself and Dave are joined by Toby to discuss FIFA 13, so you can finally find out what the official FSB score is, as well as finding out where I record the podcast from. It’s not pretty.

    This is what i posted to fifa the other day
    Massive massive bone to pick with the saving option on career mode. I had my own career game saved after umpteen hours so me and my friend started a new co-op career last night which is fine. I come to play my own game this afternoon to find the opening day of me and my friends career saved over my own one even though they have separate file names?! So each time you start a new career it saves over a current file rather than creating a new one?? I’m absolutely fuming! They say that we waste hours of life on these games and usually I shoot people down but now I have no game saved I can truly say I have lost many hours of my life with no end product!!!

    I agree with all that what said regarding pro clubs. Nice to hear you touch on it being neglected and pushed to one side year after year, as I agree with that.

    i actually dont have a problem with playing head to head seasons on slow. i noticed what ever you set your game speed on that pace will be the same on head to head seasons. i played one game on slow and then changed to normal and the game seemed like it was on crack lol. i like slow but the ball moves just that little bit more slower just before it arrives at the players feet

    Edit the player and lower pass accuracy to 35 and long pass to 35, it’s sooo much more realistic and slows the game down as well, try it it does make a difference

    Is there a way to delete old formations and tactics carried over from 12? I’ve tried everything. even deleting EVERY 12 and 13 data file from my HD (ps3).

    why does it not let u start a career with custom squads, why does it just freeze when loading up career mode and also i purchaed the billionaire takeover ,had no effect whatsoever , i cant even use it again to see if it will work a second time round . frustrating !!

    Movement physics and DEFENDING are so far my biggest gripes.

    I swear i’m not even controlling Agger or Skrtel in this video, it’s a great example of how poor the defensive AI is in this game. Your players just won’t defend as a unit, they all have a mind of their own (this includes midfield as well). Every single time when i’m on the defense my players they seem to do exactly the opposite of what i want, it’s like i’m battling against the AI of my own teammates, just simply trying to maitain a solid defensive line. I’m sure we’re all in agreement here, it’s very frustrating.

    Btw, wasn’t it supposed to be tactical defending in FIFA 12 that would improve defending AND supposedly fix the defensive AI problems? Ridiuclous.
