FIFA 12 Tops UK Chart – Again

FIFA 12 has been performing well in the UK chart for a while since launch, holding it’s own amongst the major holiday releases, but EA’s Christmas advertising campaign certainly seems to have done the business as FIFA 12 is back on top of the UK Chart with sales up 34%.

Ho Ho Holy Shit, if you’ve ever wondered how Pique feels about socks, whether Kaka is a fan of Banjos or how Wayne Rooney feels about dogs (you can write your own joke, it’s too easy), then you’re in for a treat.

The FIFA 12 Xmas ad is up. Featuring some of the faces of FIFA dismissing cliche gifts in favour of balls (again, too easy).

FIFA 10 UK Advert Uncut

That makes it sound like it’s X-rated, but don’t worry, “uncut” just means that it’s two minutes long instead of 20 seconds.

The advert debuted during the Manchester derby this afternoon, and what a fitting occasion for it to be shown! You can check it out above, and in HD if you so desire.

FIFA 10 Advert To Debut This Sunday

If you happen to have Sky Sports, and if you happen to be watching Manchester United host Manchester City this coming Sunday, then don’t change channel at half-time – because you’ll miss the first showing of the new FIFA 10 television advert.

The match kicks off at 1:30pm in the UK (that’s GMT+1 if you live outside of Britain).

Meet The EA Lads In Manchester

EA’s supreme duo of Romily Broad and Stevie Morgan will be in Manchester (UK) on Wednesday 8th July to attend phase two of the FIFA 10 Ad Shoot. Wanna meet them? Head over to Gamerbase on Market Street around noon. You can read more here.

Stevie Morgan and I will be in Manchester next week, attending the next leg of the huge FIFA 10 TV ad shoot.

However, while we’re there, we’d quite like to take on some local FIFA fans. Ideally, in fact, we’d like to hook up with one Man City fan and one Man Utd fan and record a grudge match! We’d then stick the video up on the Football World site, amongst other places.

We’ll be in town on the morning of Wednesday 8th July.

Anyone up there want in on the action?

They’re a great bunch of lads… Honestly!

No, today’s update isn’t an exclusive on Romily Broad crushing a grape (see the man in the Liverpool-red shirt in the freeze frame above). The look on his face as well, “oooh!”

Today’s FIFA 10 ad shoot tidbit comes in the form of a teaser video, along with the following confirmation via Romily on his Twitter:

So. First FIFA 10 trailer this week? Yeah, go on then.

I can’t quite spot any stars in that pic, although you would presume Rooney is hiding somewhere behind the crowd of people – more news as we have it.
