It’s been over a month since my last podcast, so I’ve made sure that this latest edition is over half an hour long. Here I talk about the leaked FIFA 10 video and why the leak isn’t good news for anybody, along with the following confession; I just can’t bring myself to play FIFA 09 any more.

A quick update to the story below – apparently there has been a bit of a mistake by the Marketplace guys. Live Season has finished so there is now nothing to download or use, but at the moment it can’t be taken off Marketplace so the price has been set to zero temporarily. We’re told a “fix” (i.e. Live Season being taken off Marketplace) is on the way.

Eagle-eyed forum admin CW noticed something when taking a look around Xbox Live Marketplace this morning:
For those on the 360 go to Game Marketplace > Explore Game Content > Game Add-ons > Browse and go to F for FIFA 09 then go across to Live Season All Leagues Pack which you will see is for free.
I don’t know what kind of effect it will have on the players what with there being no games going on right now but it appears that this is the last update that EA will be doing with Live Season for FIFA 09 so grab it while you can!
Whether they contain data or whether they are “blank” with it being the end of the season is up for discussion – you can read the thread on our forums here.

Our friends over at VideoGamesZone.de have been busy coming up with FIFA articles recently – this time they’ve made a collection of FIFA 09 & FIFA 10 screenshot comparisons. Click here to see them all.
My favourite one is above; the lighting has definitely been improved but before you pass judgement on each comparison, make sure you click to view the full-size image. From a distance you can’t appreciate the new lighting nor the better textures.
