Marcel Kuhn Makes A Statement

Look at his rage, just look at it! It’s a good job I’ve got a wireless keyboard because I’m trembling in fear under the bed whilst I type this!

The man behind next-gen FIFA 10’s Manager Mode, Mr. Marcel Kuhn, has made a statement on the EA Dev Team Lobby forum regarding the veritable mountain of MM complaints this year (most of them compiled by yours truly).

To be completely blunt, I’m glad a statement has been made, but I’m still extremely disappointed with the fact that we’re being left with the game the way that it is now (bearing in mind that even after the last patch, 2 v AI games will randomly freeze and switching club results in the millions of debt bug – amongst other things).

Anyway, you can read the statement in full by clicking the read more button below.

New Patch Details

Over on the EA forums, FIFA 10 head honcho David Rutter has posted the following update to those waiting for a new FIFA 10 patch (specifically featuring some Manager Mode fixes):

Yep – there will be an update to the game.
Yep – it will address some stuff raised here on the forums in manager mode.
Nope – I can’t tell you when it will be released – but we’re hoping in the next few weeks latest.

By “some stuff raised here” I hope that’s a reference to this list of Manager Mode issues produced by yours truly. Stay tuned for more info as we get it!

Just the one, but it’s a good’un.

Here’s how it will look when you look back at your career as a manager.

FSB 2009 Podcast #13: Demo Countdown

It’s hard to believe that this will be the last edition of the FSB podcast before the FIFA 10 demo is released. It feels like it’s been forever, and what’s worse is that while there’s only 4 days to go until we can all play FIFA 10, there’s still 26 days until we can play the full game (44 days if you live in the US or Canada).

In this podcast episode I speak to dave797 of the EA forums about his experience of FIFA 10 down at the Emirates (including his thoughts on player individuality being better this year), as well as what he thinks of the latest Manager Mode screenshots and also the “ping-pong passing” that appears in the Gamescom videos.
