We’ll be back in 2012, hopefully a lot more regularly, but until then, enjoy this one.

FSB Awards 2011: Best Podcast

The second category in the FSB Awards 2011 is best podcast. By far my favourite thing to do for the site, even if it is the most work. We’ve selected our three favourites and want you to choose the best of them in the comments below.

1) Nasris Pyjamas

Dave: “We’re well known for our off topic debate in our podcasts but Nasri’s Pyjamas is probably the best example from 2011″

Tom: “I had a hangover so I don’t remember much of this one, although having played it back it was full of tangents and messing about, which I like.”

2) Best FIFA 12 Podcast Ever

Dave: “The fantastic four thrust together in one of the best podcasts of the year, opinion, debate and banter”

Tom: “The longest we’ve ever recorded and probably gathered the most positive feedback we’ve ever recieved for a podcast.”

3) Who Doesn’t Love Trees?

Dave: “The title and image make you wonder whether we talked about FIFA or even football in this one. For that reason alone it deserves a nomination.

Tom: “If I’m honest, I just liked the image for this one.”

Once all this madness about some football game coming out dies down, we’re hoping to start doing these on a regular basis again, I know we’ve said that before though.

No Dave this time as he’s busy feeding and burping Dennis and Thierry, so you’ve got me in the driving seat, joined by Suff and Asim. We discuss FIFA 12 features in no particular order, lay forth our plans for ending poverty and discover how hard it is to say the FIFA Presidents name.

FIFA 12 Career Mode Podcast

After the Career Mode embargo officially ended yesterday, the latest FIFA 12 Podcast is now available on iTunes and it’s a bit of a Career Mode special as Rom and Stevie talk exclusively to Simon Humber about this years managerial offering. There also a few bits about the FIFA 12 PC version which we thought looked and played fantastically well at yesterdays play test.

A very special EA SPORTS FIFA 12 podcast this because not only do they talk about FIFA 12′s newest mode, EA SPORTS Football Club but they also talk to Arsenal and England midfielder, Jack Wilshere. Those of you that follow Jack on Twitter (@Jack_Wilshere) will know he spends a lot of time playing FIFA 11 with his team mates so it’s nice to hear from the man himself.

Plus I know there are loads of Arsenal fans on the boards these days as well as our very own Tom Mills, who I’m sure will like listening to the man with the “paintbrush” left foot.

I don’t know how or why, but this podcast turned out to be terrible. Between me sounding like a nit (I”m ill) and all sorts of interference, the audio on this one is well below par. I apologise in advance.

As usual we round up all the news since the last podcast as well as discussing the first FIFA12 Screenshot, Daves skill move article and the use of the word Revolution.
