Today is the day. Its the day we have all been waiting for, it’s Ultimate Team Day! Currently available to purchase through Xbox.com Marketplace, it will also be available in the next few hours on the PlayStation Store. Its time to clear up that bandwidth for this baby to come down the wire.

Official announcement: The transfer update for FIFA10 will occur on Wednesday, February 24th 2010 for both the XBOX360 and PS3 consoles
As far as we know this is just a squad update, rather than any other fixes/updates. We’ll let you know if we hear different.

Just in-case you were wondering if there would be a January transfer window update for FIFA this year, as there has been for the last few years now, this has been confirmed (thanks to Romily Broad’s Twitter tweet for making us aware of the EA SPORTS FIFA Facebook post, all that’s needed is a Peter Moore MySpace status update to complete the social networking circle):
Because so many have asked, we can confirm there will be a downloadable roster update for FIFA 10 after the January transfer window has closed. Fear not. We’ll update you on that as soon as we’ve fixed a date.
Don’t expect any gameplay tweaks though – this is purely a roster update. Thanks again to Alexrstone for the heads-up.

It’s back – if you were a fan of Ultimate Team (previously featured in UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 and FIFA 09), you’ll be glad to know that it’s coming to FIFA 10 soon.
