Over the weekend we stumbled across an incredible find, something we immediately knew would be every FIFA player’s wish. A completely redesigned FIFA user interface that is to die for!
Brazilian design master Rodrigo Bellão, an expert graphics designer/illustrator by day and avid FIFA fan by night, decided that FIFA was desperately in need of a makeover. A complete overhaul of the current menus, layout and even in-game HUD. The result, a spectacular take on what FIFA’s UI should look like. Although the current FIFA UI is decent, the menu system is a little over-complicated and in need of attention. Furthermore, the overall presentation and design throughout FIFA has become a little dated over the last few years.
Mr Bellão’s efforts not only present a fresh and intuitive way to arrange the FIFA menus, but they also add a much needed level of depth to the presentation throughout the game’s various menus by using in-game stats and information. His design takes cues from the Xbox 360 Dashboard, Windows 8 and the recently released mock-up of the potential FIFA 14 Career Mode menus. We are currenly lining up an interview with Rodrigo, but in the meantime enjoy this beautiful concept. We hope it inspires some fresh ideas from the chaps in Vancouver.
We’re sure most of you will agree with us that it is a bit special. If you’d like to see more of Rodrigo’s work then check out his website.
