Tottenham Added As EA SPORTS Partner

Tottenham have joined the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, and Manchester City by becoming an EA Sports partner for the next three years.

Matt Bilbey, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Football at EA SPORTS had this to say. “We are extremely excited to join a world class football club like Tottenham Hotspur as an Official Club Partner, This is an opportunity for us to create a deeper connection with their passionate, global fan base, and use our game as a platform to engage Spurs supporters all season long.”

Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy added, “Over the course of the past few years we’ve seen the international profile of the Club rise significantly, especially across key markets in Asia and North America. We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with EA SPORTS, one of the world’s leading entertainment brands, and provide them with the opportunity to reach our global fan base.”

Tottenhams Pre Season tour takes them to the states to play L.A Galaxy and the New York Red Bulls, as well as Liverpool. Whilst there, the EA team will be meeting up with them to create 3D scans of the players. It would make sense to do Liverpool at the same time as they’re both out there, which could actually be happening, but isn’t announced yet.

As with previously announced deals, White Hart Lane will be visited by the EA Sports Dugout and the club will have exclusive video content and their own game sleeve available to download from the club website.

On one hand I am realy happy that a great club like Tottenham is partnership, this way we will have real face for players like Bale, Modric… but on the other hand it would be great to see EA making partnership with clubs from other countries such germany, Italy and Spain… cause this game is not FIFA PL13??? is it???
I do not think that would be hard to become partrner with spanish teams…they started with Valencia, that is honnestly great but keep on working EA!!
the new tsch for faces is just superb!! should realy have more and more clubs. And I am realy desapointed that during the Euro EA has done nothing…realy desapointed…a wonderfull occasion missed stupidly!!

heard from a source at EA that Jay Spearing crashed the game face software and hence a partnership with Liverpool looks unlikely ;)
