UEFA Euro 2012 Available Now On PC & Xbox360

All For One (Except Sony)

Quicker than we ever could have imagined the FSB calendar has rolled round to April 24th which means just one thing – UEFA Euro 2012 launch day!

The much debated FIFA 12 DLC component is live now on Xbox 360 and PC so get yourselves over to the relevant store and start that download. Remembering of course that it will set you back £15.99 and you will require a copy of FIFA 12 to be able to play. If you experience any problems with the download, there are some tips here.

PS3 users are going to have to hang on until 4am (25th April) UK time. Don’t ask us why, but we’ll let you know as soon as it’s out.

*WARNING* Some users have reported issues downloading and installing Euro 2012 on Xbox 360. As with the last patch the issue can be resolved by deleting all User Generated Content from Creation Centre and trying again.

    Hello. You talk about issues, but what kind of ? I got problems, my xbox doesn’t respond when I launch fifa 12. It appeared when I installed the patch. Is it what you were talking about? thanks a lot for you answer. (sorry, my english must be quite bad, I’m french guy)

    just played euro 2012, i think its an awful game its very slow, i hope fifa wont take anything from this game i defo will not be buying the full game, if the trial version was anything to go by. bring on fifa 13 hope thye put aload of new stuff in it.

    @David Bryant: Thank you so much for that warning. I was totally desperate not being able to play either FIFA 12 nor UEFA Euro 2012 after downloading and installing Euro 2012. Now, everything works perfectly. I just had to delete the User Generated Content (UCG). I didn’t really use that at all anyway. It even solved another problem I’ve had with FIFA 12: Not being able to download most recent squads. Now that works, too! And the DLC is GREAT! I really like the small tweeks they’ve done to the gameplay – like better feeling of a greater pitch, more space to manouver, more ball control, better shooting, and some extra animations. Well, it seems so to me, at least. Have EA really been understating the evolutions of this DLC compared to FIFA 12? That’s not what we’re used to, but I certainly like it that way, if that is in fact the case. I don’t quite understand the default camera angle, though. I’d recommend you all to adjust the camera height – and there you go, it’s suddenly even greater than the camera angles in the rest of FIFA 12. But I guess it’s a matter of taste, right?

    Forgot to mention: The penalties seems more realistic in Euro 2012 than in FIFA 12, too. In FIFA 12, the opponent always tried to tip your goalkeeper and you could save the ball just by letting go of the controller and have the goalie save the ball all by himself. I’ve won a lot of penalty shootouts that way in FIFA 12. That doesn’t happen in Euro 2012. Or at least, it didn’t happen to me in my first penalty shootout. And the ball physics seems to be improved too. It looks and feels so much greater. Not really having expected any gameplay improvements, I am very surprised – in the good sense. Or am I just imagining things? I mean, EA didn’t mention that prior to releasing the DLC – on the contrary.

    any help for the PS3 users who have brought the full version and simply cannot use it, it keeps asking us to redeem a voucher which we don’t have as one is given on purchase, spent money on something that can’t be used,

    Clive have you tried deleting all UGC content (creation centre stuff)? if you delete that and reboot your console it should work. Quite a few people have tested this and it’s worked.

    i have the same problem downloadet the dlc but it want me to write a redeem code.. i dont have any creation centre stuff.. what do i do??

    Guys, on my PS3(N/A) I bought it and downloaded but yet it kept showing purchase Euro 2012??

    For PS3 users. The dlc didnt work untill I downloaded the trial version as well. Hope this helps.

    Just downloaded the DLC, Can’t play it as it keeps asking me to re-download or something stupid, downloading the trial to see if that fixes the issue at all

    You must download trial version first. You will notice the trial version a bigger file. So it must have most of the game in the trial version.

    I tried to buy the DLC Euro 2012 in FIFA menu but it says “There is nothing to buy at this moment. Try again later.” using PSN Brazil account.
    The trial does not work too.
    My friend have an USA PSN account and it is working in my console.
    What can I do ?
    I want to buy using my account.

    So since the most recent update around the time of the euro 2012 dlc a lot of people have been complaining about the freeze on startup. I deleted the UGC file like suggested and it worked! But then I realised I won’t be able to use my custom made teams in career and one of my career saves is useless now! Are EA gonna fix this with another patch? Most people don’t seem to use UGC but it sucks for us that do! :(

    i downloaded the trail and now i have the full version but it is still only letting me play the trail version? wtf EA?

    @mitch go to challenges and try to play. It’ll say that you can’t as you need to purchase. select purchase, it’ll take you to the store and you’ll see it shows as already being bought. Then back out to the euro menu and try again.
