Wepeeler Vs Ultimate Team
It’s new territory for friend of FSB Wepeeler in his latest FIFA compilation video, this time the goals come exclusively from FIFA 11 Ultimate Team a brand new mode for the video maestro. In this video there are no skills and no frills it’s all about real football and great goals, perfect. If you keep an eye on the bottom right of the video you’ll be able to see the star rating being used as each goal is scored.

All I ever see from this guy is him exploiting clear errors in defensive programming and using the same glitch over and over again to score what look like decent goals. This isn’t even fun to watch; its more annoying because it reveals how far FIFA has to go before it even begins to approach the desired level of realism.

yea, these videos have become very uncreative and repetitive. I honestly score better goals than this….and have better scored on me as well….

I agree with the comments above. He has some good goals, but they are all with the curl glitch. Curl it back post over the goalie after doing the fake shot across the box. Fifa is a glitchy game and wepeeler points all them out perfectly.

Well, he is good at editing. But I’m not impressed at all. Mostly because you can’t do something cool or skillfull in fifa. Everything is the same. The curled shots are the same. Fake shots are too easy to do to get past players. Freekicks is so friggin easy. So it’s just nothing good about this vid, or any fifa vid. shooting/ballphysics is horrible. Everything looks superscripted.

The “curl glitch”? It’s called a finesse shot. It’s used quite often in real football to curl the ball past the keeper into the far post. As for it being a glitch, the finesse shot was introduced in FIFA 09 as a way to allow users to “control” the ball around tight angles. It’s been relatively the same since 09…
I agree that FIFA needs work. I’m far from a FIFA fanboy and have been a very vocal voice in the community since FIFA 06. The boys at EA have much work to do to make FIFA 12 the best installment yet…

I liked this one because it was simple and showed real finishes people score every day but in a stylised fashion. I like the trick videos too but personally I like a collection of well worked goals more.
Difficult to do so with FIFA11′s AI admittedly but that’s not exactly your fault.

You do edit things very well, to me the issue is that it looks like you have some aids on – but if you are full manual, congrats on that quick precision passing + shooting, as from some angles it is very tough to hit a shot with proper power and accuracy.
In my game a lot of those end up saved by the GK and the curl shots don’t seem to curl THAT much. My friends use semi/assist and even with just semi on, you can notice a difference in ball placement.
The exploits I referred to in my case were mostly how pressure is applied on the other team’s defenders… and mixing that with assisted passing, it’s a very powerful combo.
I’d love to see more videos with more build-up play involved (though it’d only be possible if you record with a camera), by the way. It isn’t easy to keep putting out 2-3 minute long videos with different material… so even a Career Mode match highlights mashed together would be good. Some guy did that for PES 2010 and it was always up on WENB.

Honest enough comment from Wepeeler, I don’t know about everyone else but I enjoy his videos. He goes out of his way to do them for us to watch so just enjoy and remember the guy is doing it for the community.

It’s not a ‘curl glitch’….there are certain areas on the pitch where everybody knows where to hit the finesse from, you know the spot…it’s just too easy

I do agree with a lot of the comments on here, but appreciate you’re making an effort for others to enjoy. If anything, this vid shows that there are still areas of the pitch that you can score from a lot of the time, so that can be taken as a plus in the way that EA will be aware of it.
As a form of constructive criticism, I think there needed to be a bit of variety in this video.
At the end, you can see photos of the players, is this because it’s in Ultimate team? I haven’t seen this before. Why dont we have real players faces at the end of the match in Career Mode. It may take up a bit of space on the disk, but I think it would be a really cool addition for FIFA12.
